Critical care technicians are first responders at the scene of emergency situations. They require training and licensing at one of three levels, EMT- Basic, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT- Paramedic.

These professionals can treat a variety of injuries or physical ailments, as well as transport patients to a hospital for extended treatment. They need a formal education to do these duties.

Critical Care Technicians are emergency medical technician those are given special training to support during heart attack, accidents, Child birth or any other critical cases. Critical care technicians are also given CPR training. Critical care technicians may have to monitor some machineries, manage devices and assist patients in trauma ambulance, clean intensive care units and technical devices etc.
