For chemistry-
*Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry
*Periodic table and representative elements
*Thermodynamics and gaseous state
*atomic structure
*Chemical Bonding
*Chemical and Ionic Equilibrium

For Maths-
*Calculus
*Coordinate Geometry
*Complex Numbers
*Quadratic Equations
*Matrices and determinants

JEE Mains follows a similar pattern of questions most of the time.
Hence, these have always been and still are the important topics.However,this doesn't mean that the other topics are not important.Do not take any chance as any change in pattern might affect you.

How much mark a general category aspirant should score to get admission in EC in Calicut NIT?

The closing rank for a home state student from General Category to get ECE values between 18000-20000 whereas the other state cutoff is around 9000-10000.

Well,this varies according to the difficulty level of the exam and the performance of all the students appearing in it.
My suggestion will be to give your best and not think too much.Also,go through all the rounds of counselling to get into your desired branch.
