Some barriers to communication are :-

*Choice of words: when you are talking to a person, you should make sure you do not use jargons and keep the language and choice of words as simple as possible.

*Physical barriers like sounds, surroundings, etc also might act as barriers to effective communication.

*Emotional barrier like one fails to express his feelings to other.

*Lack of attention: this could be the main reason if you want to have a effective communication you should be very attentive to what other person is saying ,sometimes having different perception regarding same thing can also lead to uneffective communication.
