I am sorry to say, with that rank you won't get seat in architecture or planning in any category. Closing ranks to get seat in NIT's and in CFTI's is below 10k rank. If you are very much interested in architecture and trying to start your career in that, I suggest you to take a break and for next attempt, prepare seriously covering all the topics of the syllabus and practising previous papers.

About the colleges you can try in NITs. But there you will get some lower branch. If you are branch specific, you could face problems. An Average NIT will give lower branch and Lower NIT will give average branch.
