There are 3 types of seats in Medical Colleges. Government Medical College seats, Government Quota seats in Private Medical Colleges and Management Quota seats in Private Medical Colleges. There will be miscellaneous charges like laboratory fees, library fees, maintenance fees, miscellaneous charges, caution deposit etc. The amount changes from College to College. It is the least in Government Medical Colleges and the highest in Private Medical Colleges. You will need text books, stethoscope, Bone set for Anatomy preparation, etc. This all depends on the type of seat you get in a College and the cost of living in the place you get a seat in. So we cannot put a slab to the expenses.
