Generally as per old curriculum sanskrit is fall in arts stream, students who have taken arts might select history, geography, political science, english , nutrition , sociology , economics etc. so it also depends on the institute and how many options they have, faculty and infrastructure availability. generally students have to select 6 papers includes english and another language paper.\
