BSc is more like a coral, while BSc honours is more like a pearl.

As an example:

Botany, zoology, and chemistry are all key subjects in the BSc biological science programme, and you can pick between these or allied courses like forensic science when you go on to the MSc programme.

BSc honours will allow you to specialise in one topic, such as BSc zoology or BSc botany, while also allowing you to choose from a variety of side disciplines, such as geology or chemistry. When it comes to PG courses, however, you can only choose from botany, zoology, or the exact subject you studied for your honours.

Hope this helps.

Hii,

B.Sc (Hons) is much more specialized as compared to the B.Sc (General) degree, and academically, B.Sc (Hons) is a more standard degree as compared to B.Sc (general).

If you want to study any one of the main sciences (eg. chemistry, physics, mathematics etc.) in detail, it is advisable to go for a B.Sc (Hons) course.

BSc Hons stand for Bachelor of Science Honours .

A Bachelor's degree BSc is generally considered an ordinary pass degree and BSc Hons is looked upon as an extraordinary degree.

A Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree ( Hons ), are both academic degrees given to undergraduate students.

A Bachelor's degree is a degree which normally takes three years to complete, if you are studying full-time.

An Honours Bachelor's degree is a degree which normally takes four years to complete, if you are studying full-time.

An honours degree is normally required for admission to a graduate (Master's) program.

Honours degree is considered to be a study with enhanced focus on the area taught.

It helps a graduate to gain advantage over those with an ordinary degree in their job hunt

Hope this will help you,

All the very best!!
