The Retention form means if a candidate is allotted a seat in any of the round and the candidate is satisfied with the seat and doesn't want to go for subsequent rounds. For that purpose we have retention form. With that the candidate can retain his/her seat.If the candidate doesn't fill the retention form he will be considered for betterment of options in further rounds.(betterment means the higher preference)
