What do we study in BSc honours in statistics?

In bsc statistics hons. , you study

  • the collection, meaningful segregation of data,
  • interpretation of collected data.
  • students study subjects like probability and permutations.
  • You study to  use a random sample of data taken from a population to describe and make inferences about the population.
  • you learn to use the data to provide description of the population in a summarize way through graphs, numerical calculations, tables, etc.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) in statistics is a three years undergraduate course with a specialization in statistics and stats related principles.  It is study of collection, organization and interpretation of data. Statistics is generally a three   years Academic course and it may be provided on s part time basis by certain Institutes.
