Torque in Physics refers to the rate of change of angular momentum of an object mathematically. It is a twisting force which lends to cause rotation. It is calculated by multiplying the force and distance. It is a vector quantity aa it has both direction and magnitude.

Torque is the twisting force that tends to cause rotation. The point where the object rotates is known as the axis of rotation. Mathematically, torque can be written as T = F * r * sin(theta), and it has units of Newton-meters.
