In the previous's years, we had the JEE main papers for a total mark of 360.Now the total Mark's is reduced to 300.Also the total number of questions have reduced from 90 to 75 out of which you will not have negative marking for 15 numerical questions. So,I guess there will not be any considerable change in the cutoff. We will usually have the general category cutoff in the range 80-85 in the previous years, now it might be in the range 70-80.

Hello there,

Though the pattern has changed and now I have five integer type questions will be asked in each of the subjects but one should also keep in mind that
the total number of questions has also dropped from 30 to 25 in each subjects.
Which means now one has to attempt 75 questions in 3 hours instead of 90 questions.
Keeping this in mind I don't expect the cutoff of jee mains to change a lot as compared to previous years cutoff.
However time will tell what would be the actual cutoff.
Hope this helps
