Dear Shivendra,

The main eligibility criterias needed for studying MBA in Germany are:

A minimum of 60% aggregate score. A bachelor’s degree in particular subjects, it could be a 4-year degree / a 3-year degree with 1-year master’s degree. Few universities also accept a 3-year bachelor’s degree to study MBA in Germany.Valid score in GMAT/GRE. Since most German universities only require a valid TOEFL score, it is possible to apply for MBA in Germany without GMAT.Basic knowledge of German Language. Although most universities offer a program for MBA in Germany in English, few require a  proficiency in German language to be cleared. Hope this serves to be helpful to you. Best wishes!

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that MBA in Germany lasts anywhere between 12 to 24 months.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree equivalent to a German Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects, it could be a 4-year degree or a 3-year degree with 1-year master’s degree. Few universities also accept a 3-year bachelor’s degree to study MBA in Germany.
  • Valid score in GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL. Each university accepts the score of different exam. Since most German universities only require a valid TOEFL score, it is possible to apply for MBA in Germany without GMAT.
  • Basic knowledge of German Language. Although most universities offer a program for MBA in Germany in English, few require a certain proficiency in German language to be cleared.
  • A good academic record, for Indian students, this can be equivalent to a minimum of 60% aggregate academic score
  • Few institutes might conduct an entrance exam for determining the candidature to purse an MBA program in Germany.
  • These are few must-haves to apply for an MBA in Germany for students

Hope it helps!

Thank You & All the best!

Hey !
German universities belong to two types namely, public and private. Each university has different eligibility criteria for MBA in Germany. It is possible to pursue MBA in Germany without work experience unlike it many countries where prior work experience is a prerequisite for an MBA degree. Mostly the below are the minimum conditions which are required for a student to pursue MBA in Germany :
1) A bachelors degree equivalent to a German Bachelors degree in relevant subjects, it could be a 4-year degree or a 3-year degree with 1-year masters degree.
2) Valid score in GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL. (Most of the German universities take in TOEFL score)
3) Few institutes might conduct an entrance exam for determining the capabilities of the students (Like are they eligibile to pursue MBA at Germany or not )
Hope this helps
All the best !
