Nothing will happen if you don't apply for NEET examination, it's just that you won't be able to get admission in medical courses like mbbs, bds , ayush courses without neet etc

Without giving neet, you can go for courses like

  • Bsc Nursing

  • Bsc agriculture

  • BSc biotechnology

  • B Pharma

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

  • Paramedical courses

  • BSc dairy technology

  • BSc microbiology

  • BSc. Medical Laboratory Technology

  • BSc. Cardiac Laboratory Technology

  • BSc. Dialysis Technology

  • BSc. Neuro Technology

  • BSc. Nuclear Medicine Technology

  • BSc. Operation Theatre Technology

  • BSc. Perfusion Technology

  • BSc. Radiotherapy Technology

  • BASLP (Bachelor in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology)

  • Bsc Zoology/Botany

  • BDes

  • Integrated llb

  • integrated mba

  • Bachelor of Hotel Management.

  • Bachelor of Journalism (BJ)

  • Bachelor of Mass Media

If you want to take a drop &  register for NEET next year then next year you can do so provided you fulfill neet eligibility criteria

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-------------------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible one must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have passed 12th board examination from any recognised board with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.

-------------------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.


-------------------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-There's no upper age limit for NEET. Earlier there was upper age limit  of 25 years which was pending in supreme court, on 9th march 2022 NMC in its notice has removed upper age limit.
