As per the guidelines, while registering for jee advanced examination after clearing jee mains examination, you are supposed to upload a caste certificate if you put the caste as any specific one other than general.

So, you might not be able to register to jee adavanced without submitting   the obc ncl certificate.

So, acquire the certificate as soon as possible for the smooth flow of registration process.
