Dear Arib, to be eligible for taking admission on the basis of your JEE Mains score, you should have completed your 12th and pass in all subjects. Lets say you score good in JEE but unfortunately fail in Biology, you will not be termed 12th completed. You cannot take admission that academic year unless you pass in Biology and successfully complete your 12th with the required aggregate against your Category. In short, you have tonpass all subjects.

Hello student jee has nothing to do with biology if biology is your 6th subject then there's no problem but if its in your main 5 then yes you need to appear in the exam again.



Year of Passing Qualifying Exam

Candidates should have passed class 12 or qualifying exam in 2018 or 2019. Candidates appearing in class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam in 2020 can also apply for JEE Main
