If you are giving your boards this year then your attempts will be counted from this year no matter you enroll or not so if you don't attempt it this year one attempt will be wasted so it is good if you enroll.

Hello dear aspirant.

For JEE mains examination you are provided three consecutive attempts. Consecutive attempts means one in the appearing of 10+2 it will expire whether you use it or not.

Second in next year of passing it will again expire whether you use it or not. After that next year final attempt only for JEE mains it will also be over whether you use it or not.
