In HSC board, a subject apart from physical education had been divided into two parts:

Written exam

Internal marks

To pass a subject , a student has to get 35% marks in that subject to clear it.

So in your case, if you get 30 in practical and 5 in theory,it becomes 35 marks which is passing marks for you
