What if I have opted for upgradation for 2nd round in NEET, and don't want to upgrade.

Hello

If you haven’t submitted any fresh choices during choice submission period before Round 2 of counselling, you will continue to retain the allotted seat. Also, if you have filled choices, but aren’t allotted any seat in second round, then also you retain the seat allotted in Round I.

If you had taken admission in the college you had got in the first round of counselling and you dont want yo leave that seat for an upgraded seat then dont, it's not automatic upgradation. note that the candidate will have to forfeit the security amount if they surrender their allotted seats in Round 2. if in Round 2 the candidate is allotted a seat in AIQ/ Deemed, he/she can exit by forfeiting the security money.
