Current Clamp and its types

Current Clamp is an ideal measuring device, also known as 'current probe' for fast measurement of currents and voltages. These are used to read the magnitude of alternating current (AC).

Clamp meters are based on the principle of magnetic induction for making non contact AC current measurements.

• Iron Vane
• Hall Effect
• Rogowski Coil
