Dear Shreya, BC is Backward Caste and EBC is Economic Backward Caste. The State Governments and the Central Government have a list of castes which are categorised into BC and EBC. EBC reservation has been accepted by the President of India and slowly states have been adapting to the EBC reservation. At this point in time, only few states started implementing EBC reservation. So based on your state and caste, you need to check which category you belong to. Hope this helps!
