Hai,

You can choose according to the field in which you are interested in. B.Sc. are offered in mostly non-professional courses like zoology, botany, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics, electronics, computer science, anthropology, agriculture etc. And B.Tech is provided in mechanical, electronics and communication, electronics and electrical, computer, genetic engineering etc.

What ever the course is there are opportunities hidden in it and you have to find it out. You can choose depending on syllabus of course work and scope available in the country. Just having a Bachelors degree does not make you a scientist. Scientist is someone who studies the subject in deep with more specialization even if he gets out of the academic course work as a regular student.

JRF offers you fellowship to attain PhD after which you can go for much more prospects.
