In Philippines the present training method for their locals is 10 + 4 where the candidate after completing his class 10 gets enrolled for the BS degree course. After this 10+4 years of studies, the aspirants are admitted to MD course if  he wishes to continue further for the medical programme.

An Indian student who wishes to persue MBBS form phillipines after their 10+2 also needs to complete the BS courses in order to get enrolled in the MD courses.
