Hello Suraj, B.Sc means bachelor of science. It is an undergraduate course which can be opted after completing class 12th from science strean. B.sc is broadly of two types: B.Sc honours and B.Sc general (B.Sc pass). There are a number of branches available for which you can do B.Sc. It mainly gives theoretical and practical knowledge of various subjects related to physics, chemistry, biology. In B.Sc general student studies many general subjects related to science. It focusses on laying a strong foundation of science. On the other hand, B.Sc honours focusses on a particular area and gives detailed knowledge in that field. B.Sc is generally a 3year course but may vary as per the rules of the various universities. Students are generally admitted on the basis of their class 12th result and some universitied conduct entrance exams to conduct admission procedure. There is a long list of categories offered in B.Sc. So you can choose the brach as per your interest area.
