Chances are very rare to get Petroleum on last day of counselling. The seats are usually filled in order 

• b.tech applied petroleum eng with specialization in upstream
• then specialization in gas
• chemical
• then cs
• then it

Hi Priyanshu,

There is absolutely no chance of getting Petroleum in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies on last day of counselling. Petroleum is the most popular branch in University of Petroleum and seats of petroleum are filled in first and then other branches Chemical, CSE, IT etc. You could get CSE/IT on last day of counselling.
