Affiliated colleges:

Affiliated colleges are those colleges which are affiliated by some university i.e., they work independently as a college but the exams, curriculum and the degree is provided by the University i.e., the university takes only the decision of academics of the students and the administrative decision about the students enrolled in the college are entirely dependent on the college.

Autonomous College:

Autonomous colleges are those colleges which have there own academic planning such as syllabus, exam and administrative decisions are take by the college itself. The degree is awarded by the college itself.

Constituent Colleges:

Constituent colleges are colleges which are following the syllabus and examination of the university and all the administrative decisions are also taken by the university and no decision making part is involved for the college. Usually this kind of colleges are present in the same campus. The degree is provided by the university.
