A BSC hons degree includes studying about topic in detail and depth with the research and analytics involved as well. To be honest, a BSC hons candidate is preferred over bsc physics candidate at maximum places.  BSC honours is a 4 years course compared to other which is a 3 year course and BSC honours covers almost everything regarding physics in depth and that's why it's more preferred.

Best wishes. Thank you.

See, there is not much difference in the syllabus or i would say no difference at all. It is just the name of the course and the states which follows these rule or more precisely the Universities following this rule.

For example: You will study same thing under B.Sc Physics in Bangalore University as your friend in Calcutta under B.Sc Physics(Hons.)

All the best!!
