Mostly engineering college offers a course on Computer Science Engineering which comprises Writing Programmes Using Algorithms and Data Structure and have nothing to do with the Computer Hardware there scope is limited to software.

In contrast, computer engineering deals with the hardware of Computer, their job is similar to electronics Engineers they don't only work upon Hardware but also takes care of a little bit software part.

You should First appear in JEE Main and then after qualifying JEE Main, you should clear JEE ADvance. If you get good rank in JEE Advance get into IIT with Computer Sciences Engineering. I would Say Go with Computer science Engineering as there is a huge rise in the Number of Startups in the country and Everone need software Engineering so its demand will never get Down.Else if you are interested in more of Hardware king of stuff then You can choose Either Computer Engineering or You can Choose Electronics Depending upon the choices You have.
