What is difference between logistics and supply chain management and logistics and transport.. Is there any big difference between them

Hello,
Logistics is a small part of supply chain management. Supply chain management deals with the management of goods, like production, their operations, management and everything. Whereas, logistics deals with transporting good. And transport and logistics is same thing.

Hello Aspirant,

There is a difference between logistics and supply chain. Supply chain is a narrow topic while logistics is a broad topic. Supply chain is a part of logistics. Supply chain is concerned with only supply of product while logistics is concerned with storage, maintainence, packaging and supply of product.
