There is not any big difference between BA social sciences honours and BA arts honours in Banaras Hindu University, let us know what is the difference between simple degree and honours degree.

What is the difference between ordinary degree and honours degree?

• So there is a big difference between these both type degrees , in ordinary degree you focus on all the subjects of the syllabus , while in the honours degree you mainly focus on a particular subject or you do specialisation in any particular subject while other subjects are the part of your syllabus only and you give exam for all subjects , but your syllabus of the specialized subject becomes more toughest than in the ordinary degree.
• Honours degree is much toughest in comparison of the ordinary degree because of more deep syllabus of the specialisation subject.
• If a student get fail in one of the year of his/her course and then he/she repeats his /her one year again then at the last he/she still get degree of pass, but he/she can't have honours degree.

Difference between BA Social science honour and BA Arts honour in BHU?
the key difference is about subjects , in BA Social science student study only his/her subjects of humanity while in BA arts student study Humanity +literature subject where literature subject will be core subject .
Now it is honour course then it will be include the specialization of any subject where there will be more deep syllabus of that particular subject.
