B. Pharmacy:
It is a 4 year undergraduate course done after class 12th with a minimum aggregate score of 45% . The candidate must be from the science stream. The compulsory subjects opted by the student must be Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The selection process is via a state level or university level entrance examination.
The age limit is 20 years for unreserved category and 22 years for reserved category.
D. Pharmacy:
It is a 2 year long career oriented program which is of diploma level. This program is designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacists and other pharmaceutical related fields.
For pursuing admission in the course of D.Pharm, a student must have completed his/ her class 12th education from a school that belongs to a recognized board.
The student can be from any stream. The student must have cleared the exam of all subjects in her/ his qualifying exam.
Both the courses are very good but if you are looking to become a professional pharmacist who does not want to work under a person then B.Pharma is for you.
