EWS is reservation for general category students who satisfy the criteria to be included in the EWS category I.e. Economically Weaker Society. Govt. Colleges and other universities will have to provide reservation to EWS category students. EWS category certificate can be obtained from the zonal office. You can check the eligibility criteria online.
