Floating means, If the candidate get the seat in 1 round or he /she wouldn't happy or satisfied with the seat alloted but he/she wants to keep the seat allotted but also wants to participate in the next round of counselling,  he/she can choose the float option. .by the help of this option, their seat is updated according to their rank and else, you keep your seat..
