The Central Forensic Science Laboratory, (CBI) New Delhi is a scientific department to provide scientific support and services to the investigation of crime.  To become a forensic cop you need to do graduation after your 12th(preferably in Biology subjects like biochemistry or microbiology). You may also do graduation or post grad in forensic science. You can  earn an associate in Law enforcement to be a crime scene investigator. Now different branches of forensic science require different educational qualifications too. Example:

Latent Fingerprint Examiner  needs to have Bachelor’s degree in science and extensive training. All the best.
