Now, thoroughly read Mechanical Metallurgy by George E. Dieter (Make sure you have read Dislocation chapter properly from Vijender Singh otherwise you won't be able to understand Deiter). Here you also need to cover Plastic Forming of Metals part (forging, rolling, extrusion, etc) according to the topics mentioned in Manufacturing part of GATE Syllabus,.
