Home State Quota :- In Home State Quota seats are reserved for students based on their state of eligibility that is the state from which they have completed their 11th and 12th standard. There are almost 50% seats (in NITs National Institute of Technology) reserved for Home State Quota. 

Other State Quota :- In Other State Quota seats are reserved for students excluding the Home State students. That is the other 50% reservation will be for other states students. 

There's no separate rank for it.
