The hotel management course comes under hospitality. Students of any stream like science, commerce, or arts can pursue this. It doesn't have any stream criteria.
See, hotel management and CSE is two different courses belonging to a different stream. The comparison would be unfair. But to get a clear idea I'll try to explain the area which these two focus on.
Hotel management -is a study of the hospitality and hotel industry. Skills you'll acquire in this are kitchen operation management, cookery, food and beverage service, management of hospitality organization, etc .the entrance exams for this course are NCHMCT JEE, UGAT, IHM Aurangabad entrance exam, MAH HM CET, Christ University entrance test, Oberoi STEP. Eligibility for this course is you need to complete 12th std from the recognized board with passing marks. starting salary is around 3lakhs and above.
You get the opportunity to work abroad with the experience of working for 1 year in a hotel.
CSE- you'll have to give entrance to qualify for any engineering college. During these years you need to acquire skills and learn languages like python, java, c, c++, etc along with many other projects that would be helpful to get into good company. The scope in I.T sector is wide. They are providing many job opportunities to freshers. The salary offered to fresher is minimum 3lakhs to maximum 40lakhs. It depends on the skills you have and the criteria of selection of the company.
