Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all-India level online entrance exam conducted by IIT's every year to provide admission to candidates in MSc and other postgraduate courses offered at IITs and integrated PhD courses offered by IISc Bangalore . Several National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) also accept JAM scores for MSc admissions.

The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is that, the candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates).
