The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national-level scholarship program for meritorious students to pursue courses in basic sciences such as B.Sc., B. Stat, Integrated M.Sc., and M.S in either Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology.

Class 11th, 12th & UG Science Students can appear for the KVPY fellowship exam .the exam is conducted  in online mode for a total of 100 marks with a duration of 3 hours.The qualified candidate in written exam are called for interview.the final merit list is prepared by giving 75% weightage to performance in the KVPY aptitude test and 25% to performance in the interview.

Candidates shortlisted in the final merit list will be awarded the following scholarship amount.SA/SX/SB- during 1st to 3rd years of UG/PG courses: Rs. 5,000/Month + Rs. 20000/annumSA/SX/SB – during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S./M.Math./M.Stat.: Rs.7,000/month + + Rs. 28000/annum
