Government Medical Colleges have a 15 percent All India Quota. What it means is that students from any part of the country can apply for the 15% seats which are further divided into reserved and general ones. Remaining 85% of seats are under the State Quota. Candidates from the respective states can apply for the seats under State Quota.

 There are three different kinds of seats available in all Medical Colleges across the country. In the Government Medical Colleges of the country, there is a 15 percent All India Quota. What it means is that students from any part of the country can apply for the 15% seats which are futther devided into reserved and general ones. Remaining 85% of seats are under the State Quota. Candidates from the respective states can apply for the seats under State Quota. The allotment of seats under the State Quota in different states is based on the State level counseling.
