AIQ stands for all india qouta. Let us understand what is qouta by taking example of MBBS admission through neet.there 50% seats are filled through home state qouta and 50% through all india qouta. In medical admission through neet suppose there are 100 seats in a college of say any state. Now there 50 seats will be admitted through the state candidate and 50 seats by the candidate outside the state. Those 50 seats that were filled by state candidate only are called home state qouta seats and those 50 seats which were filled by 50 other candidates from all over the india are called All india qouta seats i.e. AIQ.

So you can say that qouta is reffered for the reservation of seats.
