Hope you are doing great. The BTech Applied mechanics is a UG course of duration of 4 years. The Main focused are in the course is the three major topics that is Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics and Material Science. The course make you understand both the theoretical and practical way.

The Basic Eligibility for the course: Candidates must have the minimum criteria of having a science stream in Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects. Candidates seeking for the admission must have definitely from a maths stream in intermediate.

Regarding admission, mostly it will be on entrance test but there after for few it will be based on the Merit.
