Entomology is the study of insects. It is a branch of Zoology, where you will get depth knowledge of insects, to control the vectors and vector borne diseases.

The branches of entomology are -

Insect Morphology

Insect Ecology

Insect Physiology

Insect Pathology

Insect Taxonomy

Insect Toxicology

Entomology is defined as the study of insects. An example of entomology is a biology lecture on ants.

Like several of the other fields that are categorized within zoology, entomology is a taxon -based category; any form of scientific study in which there is a focus on insect-related inquiries is, by definition, entomology.
