Hello Utkarsh

According to the hon'ble Supreme Court, this year there is no upper age limit  and the new critertia is as follows,

an aspirant appearing for NEET 2018 has to complete age of 17 years on or before last date of calender year i.e., 31 December, 2018.

The maximum attempts are restricted to 3 only.

Inclusion of Veterinary course under NEET varies state to state. Many states conduct their separate exam for veterinary course.

All the best.

Hello Utkarsh,

MBBS and BDS aspirants can check the NEET 2018 eligibility criteria as specified by the CBSE. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduation (NEET UG) will be conducted tentatively in the first week of May 2018 in offline mode. The eligibility criteria of NEET 2018 specifies the academic qualifications, age limit, residency status, number of attempts and other requirements that must be met by all candidates appearing for the entrance exam. Candidates may note that the NEET Eligibility Criteria 2018 to appear for the exam will be separate from the eligibility for admissions.NEETis the single entrance examination in the country for admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes conducted in 10 languages. Candidates are advised to check the NEET 2018 Eligibility Criteria carefully before applying for the examination as they may not be allowed to appear if they fail to meet the same.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2018 - Age criteria

According to the NEET 2018 eligibility criteria, a candidate has to complete 17 years of age either at the time of admissions or else on or before December 31, 2018. According to theSC order passed on March 31, 2017, there is no maximum age limit to appear for NEET.

Hi Utkarsh, As per your query about age criteria for NEET, minimum age requirement criteria -

Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the same on or before December 31

Secondly you also asked is Veterinary course admission process is also through NEET score.. I would like to tell its Yes and No.. means it differ from one state to other... Some state consider Neet score and some have their own entrance exam... If you can tell which state you are targeting... I would be in a better position to help...

Hopefully it helps

Hello Utkarsh

The Neet eligibility criteria says that the minimum age for an aspirant for writing neet is 17 years and the upper limit is 25 years....the most important thing is the student must have cleared 10+2 board exam

Answering to the second part of your question ..yes you need to give neet for veterinary science too

As you might know there are 15% seats on all India basis .. So for getting admission In a well known veterinary college depends on your neet score...
ALL THE BEST

The candidate must complete 17 years of age in the year in which he/she takes admission into any of the government medical colleges of the nation through NEET-UG entrance examination. There is NO UPPER AGE LIMIT for appearing for NEET-UG examination as on date.
Until 2016, ALL INDIA PRE-VETERINARY TEST (AIPMT), a national level entrance examination was conducted for 15% seats of recognized government veterinary colleges across the nation, barring the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
However, in the year 2017, AIPVT got cancelled and the was replaced by NEET-UG entrance. The admissions were conducted based on NEET-UG SCORES.
There is no official notification as of now, whether AIPVT will be conducted in the year 2018, or will they get merged in NEET-UG ENTRANCE again. Stay updated by checking this website frequently.
