Nearly 2.2 lakhs students will qualify for jee advanced and out of which 1.2 lakhs nearly are general category.
And for this you should score more than 85 percentile score ( for safe conditions) and marks you need for 85 percentile is nearly 90 .
But only qualifying will not work in any way.
You have to secure good rank for good college.

To qualify for JEE Advanced, one should get a rank within 2,25,000.
But if you are a person belonging to General Category, you should get a minimum of All India Rank of 1,25,000.
JEE Advanced Exams are held in the last week of May.
