Nearly 2.2 lakhs students will qualify for jee advanced and out of which 1.2 lakhs nearly are general category.

And for this you should score more than 85 percentile score ( for safe conditions) and marks you need for 85 percentile is nearly 90 .

But only qualifying will not work in any way. 

You have to secure good rank for good college.

To qualify for JEE Advanced, one should get a rank within 2,25,000.

But if you are a person belonging to General Category, you should get a minimum of All India Rank of 1,25,000.

JEE Advanced Exams are held in the last week of May.

Dear Aspirant, to qualify for JEE Advance you need to be in top 2,24,000 across all the categories. The rank depends on the number of students who gave JEE Mains and the rank would differ.
