Hey,

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is a joint defence service training institute for the Indian Armed Forces. NDA's goal is to train young gentlemen cadets to become military officers. The UPSC conducts the NDA exam to recruit candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings. After clearing the exam or after joing NDA, acdets undergo training for three years. After graduating from NDA, candidates are sent to their respective training academies for one year of traing before commissioning.

Additionally, UPSC conducts various other government recruitment exams such as IAS, CDS, UPSC CMS, CAPF, etc. The NDA exam is held twice annually, in April and September, and consists of written tests and SSB interviews. Situated in Pune, Maharashtra, the National Defence Academy is a prestigious institution in India dedicated to training officers for the Indian Armed Forces. It provides a three-year program leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree in National Security Studies.

Hello aspirant,

National Defence Academy is located in Khadakwasla Pune, Maharashtra. This academy deals with cadetts of Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air force. They train all the 3 forces together before sending them for service. It is a pre- commission training. This is the only academy that have cadetts of all the three forces. It's a short training period that they spend their and then get posted to their main camps where training according to you field work starts.
