The National Mathematics Talent Contest or NMTC is national level mathamamath contest conducted by the association of mathematics teachers of India . It is very active and at peak level in Tamil nadu.

It has various levels and stages comprising of multiple choice questions. The prelims are held in August and mains at the end of October.

The fee for prelims is rupee 50.

The ciriculcur needs a good knowledge of mathematics Olympiad syllabus and not much is required .

The person needs to know mathematics till predegree college mathematics.
