NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination wherein there are two stages. Stage 1 is conducted by individual state and Ut's. Those students who qualify stage 1 exam appear for Stage 2 exam which is conducted by NCERT. Students qualifying stage 2 will be eligible for Scholarship. NTSE is a scholarship program which was introduced by NCERT in 1961 as an initiative to identify and promote academic talent. While it was started only for the students of Delhi, today NTSE is the most prestigious national-level scholarship exam conducted at secondary school level.
NTSE is conducted in two stages.
