what is NTSE? What does it constitute? Who is conducting it? What are the peculiar benefits that it offers? Which syllabus is it have??

Hello Dilpreet,

NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination wherein there are two stages. Stage 1 is conducted by individual state and Ut's. Those students who qualify stage 1 exam appear for Stage 2 exam which is conducted by NCERT. Students qualifying stage 2 will be eligible for Scholarship. The syllabus for the NTSE exam is based on the academic syllabus of the student. You can find the complete details by following the link for NTSE 2019.

Hello Dilpreet kaur,

NTSE is a scholarship program which was introduced by NCERT in 1961 as an initiative to identify and promote academic talent. While it was started only for the students of Delhi, today NTSE is the most prestigious national-level scholarship exam conducted at secondary school level.
NTSE is conducted in two stages.

  • NTSE Stage-1
  • NTSE Stage-2
