what is one year validity in ews certificate? is from the date when it was issue to one year ahead...or one year is counted as one financial year (from 1april-31 march) irrespective of the date of issuance of the certificate. It would be helpful if you could help me in clearing this doubt. Thanks.

Hello,

As per Government of India norms.A EWS certificate is valid for 365 days from date of issuance.

Dear aspirant,

As per the law the validity of e w s certificate is one year from the date of issue for example if your certificate is issued on 20 February 2020 then it will be valid till 20 February 2021. It does not depend on the financial year.
