A subset or specialty of Mechanical Engineering is Production Engineering. Manufacturing Engineering is a branch of mechanical engineering that focuses only on machine tools, materials science, tribology, and quality control. Professional manufacturing engineers are in charge of every element of a production system's design, development, implementation, operation, and management. Manufacturing is the most essential aspect of any engineering process, and Manufacturing Engineers play a vital role in many companies. Aeroplanes, turbines, engines, and pumps are among the manufactured items, as are integrated circuits and robotic equipment.


ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA

Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in order to pursue a BE/BTech degree in production engineering. Candidates interested in pursuing a ME/MTech in production engineering should have earned a Bachelor's degree in a comparable field with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
