Hello,

The Royal Society is a Fellowship of many of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.
Talking about benefits , the Society has played a part in some of the most fundamental, significant, and life-changing discoveries in scientific history.
To get a fellowship from the Royal Society you must have made 'a substantial contribution to the improvement of natural knowledge, including mathematics, engineering science and medical science'.
There are approximately 1,700 Fellows and Foreign Members, including around 75 Nobel Laureates. So,the best and the distinguished, outstanding scientists can get a chance to pursue fellowship in the Royal Society .

Hope it helps
Thank You !!!
